Dean has more than 20 years of strategic management and technical experience in leveraging the Internet to drive business and organizational improvement. He has spent most of his career delivering supply chain and transportation solutions that solve significant industry challenges. Most recently Dean has piloted PortVision through its recent period of growth, with PortVision achieving a leadership position in the delivery of maritime information systems.
Prior to PortVision, Dean was the Executive Vice President of Abaris Technologies, LLC, a predecessor company to PortVision that delivered enterprise software for commercial and government clients. He was also Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of SupplyPro Inc., a company that provides Internet-based supply chain solutions to Fortune 100 companies.
Jason has a diverse maritime background serving on tankers, supply vessels and research vessels as well as operating harbor tugs along the Texas Gulf Coast. In 2000 Jason accepted a commission in the Coast Guard serving seven years of active duty in Marine Safety Field prior to transitioning to reserve duty.
Throughout his active duty service, Jason held various leadership roles at Marine Safety offices on the Gulf Coast, including Chief of Port Safety and Security, Chief of Marine Environmental Protection, and Senior Investigating Officer. As a reservist he was activated in 2010 to lead response efforts during the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. His maritime knowledge and experience has been critical in the development and implementation of PortVision, a maritime software product of AIRSIS. PortVision has been adopted by major oil companies, vessel operators, agents, lawyers, marine service providers, and government entities as the preferred platform to view not only real -time vessel positions, but unprecedented historical vessel position data as well as maritime business analytics.
Jason maintains an Unlimited Tonnage Third Mates License and earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from Texas A&M Galveston and a Master of Science in Quality Systems Management. Jason currently serves as Lieutenant Commander in the Coast Guard Reserves at Sector Houston-Galveston as Assistant Chief-Reserve, Operational Planning and Force Readiness.
Michael is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance activities, human resources, planning and budgeting, treasury, legal and contracts for the company. His broad background spans finance and operations positions, in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Prior to AIRSIS, Michael served as Regional Director of Accounting for Memec, LLC, where he directed the finance operations for the company’s Americas regions. Before Memec, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Authentic Images, Inc., where he managed all finance and operations for the manufacturer of licensed collectables. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of San Diego and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
Jim is a hands-on technologist with a passion to build products. He is adept with software and hardware, communications, mechanical and electrical engineering, and systems integration. He is a recognized expert and industry speaker in satellite-based remote asset management and homeland security technologies. He was the founding CEO of Applied Digital Security, Inc. (ADSI), a predecessor company of AIRSIS. ADSI delivered satellite-based remote asset management and homeland security solutionsbeginning in 1998. From 1980-1997, Jim was in the marine engineering business as owner-builder and project leader. Jim attended San Diego State University.
