PortVision Incident Response - VTS Emergency Management System
PortVision offers a special program for PortVision Advantage users who are responsible for emergency response. PortVision Incident Response is an integrated bundle of products, services, and support to aid our customers during both response drills and active incidents by providing marine intelligence. PortVision Incident Response includes the following:
- PV Tracker hardware expedited to facilitate tracking and monitoring of all response vessels and equipment (barges, tugs, service boats, etc.)
- Immediate availability of up to 10 temporary PortVision and PortVision Advantage user accounts for use by management and response personnel
- Unlimited incident support provided by standard PortVision support personnel via telephone and e-mail
- Access to on-site FEMA-certified ICS support personnel as required for startup, training, and operational support
- After-incident support for post-mortem analysis, reporting, and archiving
- Enhance visibility of all response vessels and equipment during a response
- Manage vessel traffic in remote areas from the “command post”
- Provide managers in “headquarters” or off-site locations access to the current position of assets and impact to local waterway users
- Significantly increase value of briefings and management reporting through real-time mapping, graphics, and incident data
- Enhance safety - set up a safety zone and receive real-time alerts when any vessel penetrates that zone
- Increase compliance of response vendors – track and manage every asset involved in the response
- Support post-incident investigations using playback and historical reporting tools. Produce objective third-party documentation to support enforcement, negotiation, and litigation
- Validate claims by verifying vessel locations before, during, and after an incident
