Making (and Keeping) Friends in New Orleans

We had a great turn-out at the International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans last week.  During the show, I found there were three topics that many of our customers did not know about PortVision:

  1. Yes, we have a mobile version of PortVision:  On any web enabled device users can go to and use their same login to gain access to a very user friendly mobile version of our services.
  2. Our AIS coverage has expanded: Many people were not aware that our terrestrial AIS coverage has significantly expanded globally and on the inland river system in the U.S.  In addition, we also offer satellite AIS for those customers who require boat and ship tracking offshore.  We received some very positive feedback on our inland river coverage from the inland towing companies, and deep-water operators  were also pleased to see the additional coverage in South America.
  3. We take a consultative approach and often design custom solutions for fleet management and fleet optimization: We prefer to align a solution to your current business process and leverage any hardware or systems that might already be in place. This ensures that you get the precise maritime business solution that you need, and minimizes cost by incorporating hardware, software, and systems that you already have.

We met many old and new friends at the Workboat Show, and look forward to staying in touch with all of you.  Along the way, please let us know if we can help you meet your specific business objectives.
